DirectX 12 Ultimate – new API for PC and Xbox Series X
According to “small -laws”, Xbox Series X and iron with DX12 ULTIMATE support will be guaranteed to use all the next generation graphic technologies, including rays tracing in DirectX, Variable Rate Shader, Mesh Shaders and Sampler Feedback.
DX12 Ultimate will not affect the compatibility of non-stroke-game with current equipment that does not support the technology of the upcoming API-entertainment with Ultimate will work without it.

DirectX Raytracing 1.1 – a new version of rays trace, which makes lighting more realistic. The technology supports Inline Raytracing – an alternative form of reiterating, which gives developers the opportunity to manage the processing process at each stage.
Variable Rate Shading allows developers to selectively change the speed of shading. This makes it possible to maximize the power of the graphic processor in more important parts of the game to improve graphics and minimize in less important speeds.
Mesh Shaders forces the processing of geometry to work on the principle of computing shaaders. This helps developers create more detailed and living worlds.
SAMPLER FEEDBACK provides high quality graphics, a shorter download time and less “stuttering” by providing more detailed information that allows the creators to download only those textures that are currently needed. In addition, Sampler Feedback can use Texture-Space Shading-a rendering method that allows developers to perform resource-intensive lighting calculations and record them in the texture.
The company did not specify when the first video cards with support for DirectX 12 Ultimate start. Perhaps they will begin to appear with the release of Xbox Series X, which is planned at the end of the year.
